Experience & Practice Area.

Margaret King joined Kenyon Disend, PLLC in 2007. Prior to joining Kenyon Disend, Margaret served as Senior Legal Counsel to the Washington State Senate Water, Energy and Technology Committee for three years, where she was the primary attorney responsible for advising on water issues. Before coming to Washington State, Ms. King served as the City Attorney for Ketchum, Idaho for seven years. She also worked in private practice exclusively on interstate and intrastate issues involving water rights, providing advice to Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico water users, the State of Nebraska, and the Cities of Albuquerque and Las Crucas, New Mexico. Margaret's current practice focuses on all areas of municipal law, with a particular emphasis on land use and water rights issues. She currently serves as the City Attorney for the Cities of Gold Bar, Roslyn, Sultan, and the Town of Hunts Point. She also handles special projects for various other cities.
