Experience & Practice Area.

Steve's practice focuses on all areas of municipal law including public finance, state and federal loan and grant programs; land use; procurement and contracting for public works projects; and public-private projects. Prior to joining Kenyon Disend, Steve was a partner at Gordon Thomas Honeywell Malanca Petersen & Daheim, LLP. Before moving to private practice, he was the Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tacoma, serving Tacoma for nine years, and was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington for three years.  Steve currently serves as the City Attorney for Algona, Medina and DuPont.
