A proud Washington native, Colin has devoted his career to serving Washington’s citizens and local governments. Colin has more than ten years of experience practicing municipal law, serving as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Everett and a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Marysville. Colin has also served as a law clerk, for more than four years, to the Honorable Ricardo S. Martinez, United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Washington.
Colin has extensive experience advising elected officials, department heads, and city staff on the broad range of legal issues impacting the provision of municipal services. He is well versed in Public Records Act compliance, public procurement and contracting, code compliance, and land uses issues. Colin also has significant experience successfully representing municipal clients in state and federal courts and before administrative entities.
