Experience & Practice Area
Matthew joined Kenyon Disend to continue his career as a dedicated public servant. Prior to joining Kenyon Disend, Matthew served nearly four years as a prosecutor for the City of Auburn where he was responsible for prosecuting criminal cases, pursuing civil infractions, and representing the City in civil forfeiture cases. Before that, Matthew worked for more than a year as a deputy prosecutor and deputy coroner at the Ferry County Prosecutor’s Office in northeastern Washington.
While attending law school, Matthew externed with the King County Prosecutor’s Office and interned at the City of Renton Prosecutor’s Office. During law school he also drafted dispositive motions, trademark clearance letters, office action response, and licensing agreements for the University of Dayton School of Law’s Intellectual Property Law Clinic.
Matthew now handles code enforcement and civil forfeiture cases on behalf of, and provides general municipal legal advice to, numerous Kenyon Disend clients.
