Francesca joined Kenyon Disend in 2022 after practicing 16 years as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Criminal Division of the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Prior to her tenure at Snohomish County, she spent a year with the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and two years with Kitsap County as a Public Defender. Following law school, Francesca served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Kenneth L. Cowsert in Snohomish County Superior Court for nearly two years.
Francesca brings an impressive array of litigation and appellate court experience to the firm. She has practiced in district, juvenile, and superior courts as well as the Washington State Court of Appeals for Division I. As a deputy prosecuting attorney, she worked closely with law enforcement and handled countless cases from investigation to final disposition. As a trial attorney, she handled charges ranging from DUI to murder. Francesca has extensive trial experience with felony domestic violence cases. In 2017, she was awarded the Annette Tupper Advocacy Award for Selfless Service to Victims of Violence, by the Washington Women Lawyers Snohomish County Chapter. Francesca was also awarded the Norm Maleng Award for Innovation in Prosecution for her work while at the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Francesca now litigates on behalf of numerous Kenyon Disend municipal clients.
