Experience & Practice Area
Joshua joined the Kenyon Disend team in 2022 after working more than two years as a bill drafting attorney for the Washington State Office of the Code Reviser. At the Office of the Code Reviser, Joshua provided bill drafting services to the Senate, House of Representatives, and state agencies. There, he drafted bills and amendments on a wide range of areas of Washington law, including criminal law and procedure (Titles 9, 9A, and 10 RCW); juvenile courts and juvenile offenders (Title 13 RCW); business regulations (Title 19 RCW); administrative law (Title 34 RCW); excise taxes (Title 82 RCW); and property taxes (Title 84 RCW). Prior to graduating from the University of Washington School of Law, Joshua served as a legal extern for the Bellevue Office of the City Attorney, and as a Rule 9 licensed legal intern and legal extern for the King County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney. Joshua also has experience as a consumer complaint analyst for the Consumer Protection Division of the Washington State Office of the Attorney General where he worked for more than two years prior to attending law school. He now supports the Kenyon Disend team on a wide range of municipal law projects.
