Experience & Practice Area
Mindy Rostami’s legal career serving the public sector began as a criminal prosecuting attorney with Clark County, followed by three years with Kenyon Disend as lead criminal trial attorney for several Puget Sound municipalities. She then established her own firm where she provided contract criminal litigation services, continuing her expertise in and passion for litigation and municipal affairs. In 2012, Mindy joined Waste Management as a Senior Manager and Attorney supporting the Pacific Northwest Area public sector group. In her time with Waste Management, Mindy partnered with municipalities across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia to facilitate unique and comprehensive environmental solutions tailored to each individual jurisdiction. Mindy led complex contract negotiations, developed and fulfilled commercial contracts, facilitated and led multiple teams, implemented strategic design, and collaborated with internal partners to provide attainable and practical solutions for our local communities. After 17 years away, Mindy has returned to Kenyon Disend to provide civil litigation and other city attorney services to our client cities.
